Job Description:

Forward March Inc. is partnering with a leading company in the technology industry and is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Vulnerability Engineer to join our team. As an IT Vulnerability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our IT systems and infrastructure. You will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, evaluating risks, and implementing effective solutions to protect against potential threats. We are looking to help fast track qualified veterans, military spouses, currently serving Guard/Reserve members, and transitioning service members to great career opportunities with our partner. Responsibilities

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential vulnerabilities in our IT systems.
  • Analyze and interpret vulnerability scan results and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Develop and implement vulnerability management processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
  • Ensure security compliance by monitoring and enforcing security policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees about IT security best practices.
  • Participate in incident response activities and help coordinate remediation efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in IT security or vulnerability management.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CEH are highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or OpenVAS.
  • Knowledge of network and system security principles and best practices.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret vulnerability scan results.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
