Text 2079 to (309) ###-#### to apply.Wage Range: Min: $20.39, Mid: $25.17, Max: $29.95A Brief Overview The Item & Wire Processing Lead is responsible for providing operational support and assist in overseeing the completion of complex and timely tasks associated with check and wire processing. This position will assist in monitoring payment processes, perform operational duties, and provide quality customer service to both the Bank's internal and external customers. At times, this position will mentor and coach staff to ensure development in product and service expertise. This position is responsible for assisting with these time sensitive functions according to and in adherence with established Regulations, Rules, and per the Bank's policies and procedures. What you will do
- Perform customer call-backs to verify wire requests.
- Process wire fraud mitigation reports.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and updates of the department procedures and applicable Bank policies.
- Assist with and account for daily activities of the Item & Wire Processing functions within the Payment Operations Department.
- Monitor department performance to ensure awareness of and adherence to established Regulations, Rules, Policies, and procedures (OFAC, BSA/AML, UCC, Dodd-Frank, NACHA, REG E, REG CC, etc.).
- Assist in overseeing the ongoing monitoring and audit controls of the Bank's Remote Deposit Capture processes.
- Cross train on all Item & Wire Processing functions and provide timely and appropriate feedback/coaching to department staff.
- Suggest, support, and assist in the implementation of process efficiency, and payment related risk monitoring improvements.
- Participate in applicable internal and external audits and respond to any findings, as needed.
- Assist Retail Branches by performing research on customer-related inquiries as needed.
Other Qualifications/Requirements
- Associate's Degree and Minimum 3 Years Banking Preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
