Come join our teaching team as an Itinerant Teacher in our West Region. All content areas will be considered. We are a progressive and innovative non-profit organization dedicated to providing personalized and engaging education to youth placed in DYS programs across Massachusetts. Our programs have small student populations of up to 15 students, with an average class size of 5 students. Instruction is provided by a small, but mighty, group of General Education, Special Education, Art, Physical Education, Horticulture, Vocational, Literacy and ELL teachers. We are especially interested in Massachusetts licensed teachers who have experience with students placed at-risk, however we also welcome candidates seeking to change their careers, or return to teaching again, who are waiver-eligible teachers and willing to obtain a teacher certification. We believe everyone is a learner, and seek educators who value social justice and equity, compassion, patience, and flexibility. If you are interested in a career in education and want to make a difference, we would like to talk with you. We offer:
