East Penn is currently seeking a Mobility Support Specialist who will be responsible for processing incoming mobile requests and provide problem solving, technical support and customer service support for various mobile devices and products, including iPhone, iPad, Droid, MiFi and hotspot devices and products. This position will also be responsible for maintaining inventory, billing and records for all iOS devices. Ensuring that employees have the tools and resources necessary for effective mobile work and that all mobile devices are secure and functioning optimally.

  • Provide support for mobile devices, applications, and connectivity issues, ensuring timely troubleshooting and resolution
  • Manage the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of mobile devices, adhering to company policies and security protocols
  • Educate employees on mobile technologies, best practices, and security measures to boost productivity and safeguard sensitive information
  • Monitor mobile device performance and usage, generating reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Coordinate with mobile service providers and device manufacturers to resolve issues and optimize service delivery
  • Maintain accurate records of device inventories, support tickets, and technical documentation
  • Assist in the development and implementation of mobile device policies and procedures to ensure security and compliance
  • Maintain inventory, billing, and records for all iOS devices
  • Process incoming mobile requests and handle mobile activations
  • Setup and configure new and loaner devices
  • Work with mobile device vendors on various account maintenance tasks such as billing issues, technical issues, and plan optimization
  • Maintain security and compliance regarding company information on company-owned mobile devices
  • Perform other duties as outlined by the Information and Technology Management
  • Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or 3-5 years of equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of iOS and Droid operating systems
  • Proficient in mobile device management (MDM) solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Thorough understanding of mobile device setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with networking and carrier networks (e.g., Verizon)
  • Background in user support and customer service
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills
  • Effective time management and ability to identify improvement opportunities
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
