Division info:

Located in Livonia, Michigan, the 120+ employee facility (100,000 sq. ft.) is one of Hroux-Devtek's centers of excellence for design, development, manufacturing, assembly and support of landing gear, actuation systems and other aerospace components.

As part of the Central Division you will lead P&L responsible for critical machining operations of major commercial aircraft programs supporting Boeing, LockHeed Martin, Parker Hannifan, and military initiatives such as the B-2 Stealth, F105, and V280.

Summary of position:

The Quality Assurance Inspector inspects products to determine compliance to specified drawings involved in various machining processes such as Lathe, Milling, Drilling, Deep Hole, OD, ID Grinding, Thread Grinding and NDT. The employee performs inspections and completes required documentation to demonstrate compliance at required intervals (first article, receiving, in-process, floor and final inspections).

Main responsibilities:

* Inspects product to determine compliance to specified drawings involved in various machining processes such as Lathe, Milling, Drilling, Deep Hole, OD, ID Grinding, Thread Grinding and NDT

* Perform inspections and complete required documentation to demonstrate compliance to drawings at required intervals (first article, receiving, in-process, floor and final inspection).

* Set-up and utilize precision measuring equipment, gages, CMM etc. to complete required inspector tasks.

* Utilize Quality System procedures

* Clean, inspect, calibrate and distribute certified tools as required

Qualifications:

* High school diploma

* Two years of quality assurance and inspection experience

* Two years of general blue print interpretation experience

* Two years of set-up and use of industry accepted (general) measuring equipment

* Two years of familiarity with Geometric tolerances ASME Y14.5

* Familiarity and understanding of geometric and dimensional tolerancing

* Basic PC skills / Data Entry
