Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning Duties: Operate industrial equipment, including back-pack style vacuums. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and carpets. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators. Dust and clean office desks and furniture.
- Checklist Management: Complete and track tasks using the CleanSmarts system, ensuring accurate recording of hours worked.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow company policies, participate in safety programs, and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional image, deliver excellent customer service, address customer concerns, and report unsafe conditions to the site supervisor.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with team members at various locations, contributing to a positive work environment.
- Maintenance: Keep cleaning equipment and janitor closets organized and in good condition. Properly label and use cleaning chemicals.
- Physical Tasks: Move boxes, furniture, and equipment as needed. Lift up to 25 pounds and use ladders to access high areas.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 6 months Janitorial or Office cleaning experience is required.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation required.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting and moving up to 25 pounds.
- Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in commercial cleaning practices, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
