**Description**

There is a vacancy for a Janitor position to work primarily in the Plant. The hours are primarily 9:00pm-6:30am but may vary on production needs.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:**

- Sweep, mop, buff floors nightly; lunchroom, mens lower locker room & restroom, both hallways maintenance locker room

- Sweep & mop floors nightly; upper mens and ladies locker room and restroom, hallway firlot breakroom, milk receiving and sanitation office.

- Restock all plant restrooms.

- Sweep and Dust Hallway to the lunchroom nightly

- Clean all plant restrooms, hallways, locker rooms, nightly and lunchroom walls at least weekly and periodic cleaning per schedule.

- Clean windows in hallways and lunchroom at least weekly.

- Empty trash cans from all hallways, lunchrooms and locker rooms nightly.

- Other duties as per job description or as deemed necessary by supervision.

- Active participant in departmental safety program.

- Knowledgeable Good Manufacturing Practices and procedures.

- A sincere desire to maintain and achieve quality performance, appearance, and product integrity, with a desire to assume responsibility.

- Physical ability to perform duties satisfactorily.

- Adherence to all plant safety procedures and safe work practices.

- Perform assignments in a safe and environmentally responsible manner (i.e. minimize impact on the environment). Support and participate in plant safety and environmental initiatives to reduce loss and promote sustainability.
