NOW HIRING: We are hiring a 1st shift Janitor to join our Ring & Cylinder (R&C) team. The Janitor is responsible for maintaining production areas and keeping them presentable. Will perform heavy cleaning duties, such as washing floors, walls, & glass and removing rubbish. Your duties may also include notifying management of needed repairs and cleaning snow or debris from the sidewalks.

This is an onsite role based in Winsted, MN.

As a Janitor, you will:

* Gather and empty trash into specified dumpsters

* Gather and empty hazardous waste into specified dumpsters

* Dump scrap steel tilt hoppers in specific dumpsters

* Contact Steel and Trash vendors when containers are full

* Service, clean, and supply restrooms, lunchroom, and office

* Drive vehicles required to perform tasks including industrial trucks

* Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties

* Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings

* Spray insecticides and fumigants as needed

* Report facility concerns to Facilities Manager

* Report maintenance concerns to Maintenance Manager

* Perform routine maintenance activities as requested

Role Qualifications as a Janitor:

* Able to possess an industrial truck license

* Proven organizational and housekeeping skills

* Proven communication skills in English

* Able to identify potential safety hazards and take steps to mitigate hazards

* Work well with production employees

* 8-hour shifts (per day) including paid breaks
