The Janitor will perform overall cleanliness of an assigned SROA property or properties. Duties and responsibilities
- Walk thru to check units
- Walk thru of perimeter of facility-sweep all trash/leaves
- Empty trash bins
- Move abandoned items todumpster
- Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and parking lot
- Clean restrooms
- Clean vacant units-sweep, mops, and vacuum.
- Clean elevators-vacuum, wipe doors, clean light panels
- Clean sidewalk
- Clean dumpster area
- Clean stairwells
Qualifications
- A High School diploma/GED equivalent.
- Maintain a good working relationship with all associates.
- Must be able to read and interpret basic maintenance instructions, directions, government requirements, and labels in English and must possess the ability to write simple reports, use a computer, and present information to supervisor.
- The job requires a person to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

- Be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Be able to travel to different properties.
- Able to lift and carry (frequently) up to 45 pounds (paint, supplies).
- Able to lift and carry (occasionally up to 80 pounds (freon recovery unit, freon tanks and other heavy equipment).
- Able to push/pull up to 150 pounds, move appliances, use appliance dolly, move hot water tanks and other machinery and heavy equipment as needed.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
