Who we are looking for: Janitor

Shift: Full Time

Location: Canton, MS

Department: Operations

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor

Summary: Keeps premises/buildings in clean and orderly condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Candidates should be qualified and open to a full-time position to inspect site and all external buildings to ensure compliance with stormwater quality regulations; review stormwater pollution prevention plans; schedule and inspect outfalls; and assist with post inspections

In addition, a successful candidate will assist in fulfilling other contracted requirements to maintain compliance.

Education and/or Experience:

High school education; or up to six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
