Summary/objective The Janitorial Supervisor - Working Supervisor position will oversee our facility maintenance and cleaning division and will be responsible for day-to-day facility responsibilities such as supervise, direct, and coordinate employees and maintenance of supplies and equipment. The Janitorial Supervisor should have a clear understanding of customer service guidelines and principles and must be proactive in their role. Essential functions
- Establish cleaning standards and procedures for employees and ensure adherence to these standards and procedures
- Train/Coach and develop employees
- Schedule and assign tasks to employees based on job requirements and ensure they are carried out proficiently
- Responsible for general equipment maintenance, requesting replacements when necessary
- Controlling and monitoring the usage of cleaning materials so as to avoid or minimize waste and/or misuse
- Provide any form of required assistance to employees while they carry out their duties

Supervisory responsibilities Oversees all Facility maintenance and cleaning division. Work environment Office and administrative environments Residential and commercial work sites Physical demands Prolonged periods of sitting in vehicles and at a desk Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time Exposure to standard work site environments Travel required Minimum travel outside the immediate operating area may be required Education and Experience
- A basic degree in any hospitality-related field is not required but preferred
- Must be Bilingual English/Spanish
- Must have a clean driving record and a Valid Driver's License
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have relevant experience in cleaning and supervision of cleaning procedures
