Our challenge

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Architect with Handson development with Banking Domain experience. Key Skills being excellent communication skill, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices and Kafka.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Dallas, TX and Pittsburg, PA is $125k - $135k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and development oversight to teams of Software Engineers/Analysts
  • Ensure application design adheres to the appropriate architectural and design patterns in the systems
  • Develop key software components, and use your code as a teaching tool across the team for patterns and techniques
  • Host sessions for design and code review for stakeholders across the business
  • Improve engineering standards and process to improve team capabilities and efficiency

Requirements:

You are:

  • 12+ years' experience in Java J2ee development
  • Can lead, architect and design new apps and work with team to modernize the tech stack.
  • Experience of designing and standing up brand new microservices based architecture, Java, open shift container platform, Kafka, experience of Pega workflows.
  • Must have 3 years' experience as a Java/J2ee Architect
  • Hands-on with Springboot, Microservices, Core Java and API experience
  • Strong familiarity of formal design and SDLC methodologies, in particular Agile/SAFe
  • Significant experience of designing solutions in distributed highly resilient environments.
  • Significant experience of integrating enterprise application solutions.
  • Must have excellent communication skill
