Position: Java Developer Location: Onsite in New York, NY - 3x a week - Mandatory Rate: Negotiable based on experience Duration: 6+ MonthsOverview: Front office Technology function supports the producers (Traders and sales) in the Rates and Credit of the Bank. This individual will be key in development of new systems (such as a whole loan product launch) as well as other bank initiatives. We will be using a well developed /mature ecosystem combining Ion and a large base of integration tools with a large base of java code.) The Front Office Technology (FO Tech) group of 12 supports many critical processes across the front office with Ion as the primary trading system. This includes onboarding and support of sales and trading as well as maintaining and expanding the trading systems. Required Skills:Fixed income experience REQUIRED, especially on bond analytics, treasury notes and futures.
- Strong Java experience, continuous integration
- Strong Java server-side programming skills

- SQL skills: Postgres, Sybase, Snowflake
- ION development experience
- Familiar with build/delivery tools (such as Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, Puppet)
