Job Description
Support WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Application Server software systems
Troubleshoot and debug production interfaces
Maintain production systems around application and infrastructure outages
Represent the Selling Technology Management (STM) team on development projects
Participate in STM 24x7 Oncall rotation for Middleware (MQ, WAS, other application servers) and other applications
Perform independently and analyze, design, code, test, debug, document, and install solutions and production fixes
Ability to collect MQ trace data and to interact with vendor
Analyze Problem Records or development efforts and drive technical solutions or practices to improve deliverables based on team best practices
Demonstrate anticipation and initiative in the planning for and management of issues
Maintain good business relationship with other IT departments to ensure success of enhancements and fixes
