Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented JD Edwards (JDE) Business Analyst with expertise in Finance modules to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, implementing, and maintaining JDE EnterpriseOne financial systems to support business needs. This role requires a deep understanding of JDE Finance modules and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to optimize business processes and drive efficiency.
This is a hybrid role. You will be expected to come into the office 3x weekly. There are multiple office locations and relocation assistance is also provided:
Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Greenwich, CT; Bethesda, MD; Jacksonville, FL; Wilmington, OH; or Scranton, PA
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, and implement solutions within JDE Finance modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Financial Reporting).
- Provide support and troubleshooting for end-users to resolve system issues.
- Partner with business units to identify, document, and improve financial processes.
- Recommend enhancements and best practices to maximize the functionality of JDE applications.
- Lead and/or support JDE financial module implementation and upgrade projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables for new system initiatives.
- Conduct testing, training, and deployment of solutions to ensure a seamless transition.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for configurations, processes, and user guides.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Work closely with IT teams, developers, and third-party vendors to address system integration requirements.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and finance stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Finance modules.
- Strong knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, and reporting requirements.
- Proven experience in configuring and maintaining JDE modules such as General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Job Costing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
