We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Distribution Office Clerk to support our warehouse and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating the daily flow of goods, ensuring accurate records, and providing administrative support to the distribution team. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities** :
+ **Administrative Support** : Provide general clerical and administrative support to the distribution and warehouse teams, including data entry, filing, and answering phones.
+ **Order Processing** : Assist in processing and verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and records.
+ **Inventory Management** : Help maintain inventory records, track stock levels, and generate inventory reports as needed.
+ **Communication** : Liaise between the warehouse, drivers, and management to ensure timely and accurate shipments and deliveries.
+ **Data Entry** : Enter shipment details, orders, and inventory data into the company's database with precision and attention to detail.
+ **Documentation** : Prepare and process shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing slips, and invoices.
+ **Customer Service** : Address and resolve customer inquiries related to shipping, tracking, and order fulfillment.
+ **Compliance** : Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to shipping and handling.
Minimum Qualifications -
1. Strong communication skills - verbal and written
2. Detail Oriented
3. Proficient with computers
4. Strong mathematical skills
5. Great organizations skills
Preferred -
1. Computer experience with AS400, EAM and Oracle
2. HS Diploma or Equivalent
3. Previous warehouse and inventory experience
4. Knowledge of operation flow and product codes
Normal Shift Hours - 4:00 pm - 2:00am, OT as necessary.
