CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE 2 Job Location: Address:2878 E. WHITE MOUNTAIN BLVD. PINETOP, ARIZONA 85935 Posting Details: Hourly Rate: $18.70 Grade: 15 Closing Date: 10/22/2024 Job Summary: This position will be responsible for providing over the counter services to the public for the Region 1 (Pinetop) office. Over the counter assistance will include issuing licenses, tags, and stamps in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with A.R.S. Title 17 and Game and Fish Commission rules.Job Duties: -Provides assistance in registering watercraft and inspects watercraft for compliance with Federal requirements-Enters data into database, collects fees and enters transactions into a PC cash register (including cash security)-Prepares daily reconciliation reports and balances it against daily receipts and PC cash register reports-Responds to public inquiries through mail, in person, through the internet and over telephone, regarding complex watercraft registration requirements and procedures, State, Federal and Department policies and procedures, and urban wildlife nuisances-Accepts injured wildlife (when necessary) and coordinates transport to rehabilitator or veterinarian-Works with regional budgets, tracking expenditures, inputting information onto budget spreadsheets and researches issues or discrepancies if they arise as well as assist other programs at special events-Primary responsibility for administering regional purchases through APP system, knowledge of state contract vendors and transactions-Issues ownership documents, collects fees, and enters transactions into POS register. Issues licenses, special use stamps and non-permit tags in accordance with A.R.S Title 17 and Game and Fish Rules-Sells publications and merchandise to the public-Maintain regional publications inventory and order as needed. Responds to public inquiries through the mail, in person, internet and over the telephone regarding the interpretation of the state and federal laws and Department policies/procedures, urban wildlife nuisances, complex watercraft registration requirements and procedures-Supporting the Department with public outreach efforts-Maintains supplies necessary to perform job duties, including providing information to the public. Administrative support to Regional program staff-May assist the Regional Game Specialist with mountain lion, bear and bighorn sheep check-ins. -Process monthly travel charges and reconcile the monthly statement-Process or assist with monthly Ghost Card/PCard purchases and reconcile the monthly statements-Process and send regional travel claims submitted by staff to HQ in a timely manner. Contact hotels and make proper reservations for employee stays all over the state as well as Out of State Travel accommodations-Complete information processing in routing and complex applications i.e., Microsoft Office Programs and Google Workspace-Performs other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs): Candidate will have knowledge of Game and Fish Commission rules and orders; A.R.S. Title 5, Title 17, Title 33 and other applicable Arizona Revised Statutes; U.S. Coast Guard Federal requirements governing states registration; law enforcement practices; hull identification and safety equipment; terminology of watercraft structures and equipment; cash handling and reconciliation; procurement. Candidates will have skill in cash handling, active listening, problem solving, organization; multitasking; oral and written communication, customer service, grammar usage, 10-key and use of basic office equipment, and problem solving. Candidates will have the ability to provide excellent customer service.Pre-Employment Requirements: If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, then the following requirements apply.
