Job Shop Machine Operator (1st Shift)

We are focused on the safety of all who work on our team and are proud to offer advancement opportunities and an in-house job training program.First shift hours are 6am-2pm Monday-Friday at this time and will move to 4am-2pm Monday-Thursday effective December 30th 2024Responsibilities:- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations according to specifications- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine dimensions and tolerances- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy of parts- Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards- Package, assemble, or weld parts as required- Maintain a clean and organized work area- Previous experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment preferred, not required. NE-XT provides on-the-job training for all new hires.- Knowledge of machining processes and techniques preferred- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers- Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervisionNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
