JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES:

Neumann University is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Graduate Assistant (GA) - Campus Ministry. The Graduate Assistant for Campus Ministry serves within the Mission and Ministry to support in the administration of the University's campus mission programming and student leadership formation approach that is grounded in Neumann's Catholic traditions and Franciscan values, which is conducive model with the University's RISES values. This position will report to the Director of Campus Ministry and serve as a member of the Mission and Ministry unit.

This position will begin in early-August 2025 and end mid/late-May 2026. Participation in the August GA training prior to the start of the fall semester is required.

This is a full-time (3/3) graduate assistantship; not to exceed 20 hours per week and maintains regular evening, weekend, and late-night responsibilities. Expected to extend hours when necessary and may be adjusted to meet the needs of the university.

Qualifications: Enrolled master's degree candidate in an approved graduate program at Neumann University is required; Bachelor's degree required; professional manner and appearance; enrolled as a full-time graduate student at Neumann University; registered for at least 6 graduate credits during any semester in which you are awarded a GA position; maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above in graduate courses; experience in pastoral ministry, such as internships, volunteer work, or other ministry-related activities; understanding of and experience with the practical aspects of campus ministry, such as event planning and outreach to students; knowledge of and experience with leading liturgical services and prayer experiences; exceptional organizational skills, and a demonstrated ability and desire for collaboration and teamwork; ability to self-manage and bring projects to completion; clear communication, ability to keep multiple stakeholders informed, including clear communication with students; willingness to grow, learn and share in a faith-based community; celebration of and welcome for the diversity of views, faiths, spiritualties, race, gender, and sexual identities embodied in our community; ability to engage students with diverse views and experiences; appreciation for the role of faith development as part of a Franciscan education; familiarity with and/or willingness to learn about and promote Franciscan Spirituality, Social Justice, Interfaith dialogue, and the mission and goals of Catholic and Franciscan education and the office of Campus Ministry; a driver's license and willingness to become van certified; high degree of confidentiality and professionalism; experience with Microsoft Outlook and other Office Suite Applications preferred. Candidates must possess an appreciation for and congruence with the Catholic Franciscan mission of the University.
