JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES:
Neumann University is currently seeking a qualified applicant for the full-time position of Verification Specialist.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Serve as liaison to National Student Clearinghouse; process NSC monthly reports and reviewing all transcript request through the NSC online transcript software.
* Process VA Certifications, verifying benefit eligibility, and manage computer records for the university registrar's office, aligning with Neumann University's mission and educational goals.
* Assist with student verifications, student information cross-checks and updates, and master schedule course entries and block scheduling.
* Perform data entry tasks and provide general administrative support for the university registrar's office.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma required.
* Have at least three (3) years of experience in either a registrar's office or related college office.
* Experience in a computerized work environment, with particular knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, is required.
* Knowledge of Colleague software or a similar type of software is desired.
* Candidates must possess an understanding of, appreciation for, and congruence with the Catholic Franciscan mission of the University.
