- Help maintain levels of competition
- Assist in monitoring all athletes academic progress
- Follow and enforce established eligibility requirements of District 12
- Assist with individual practices to provide individual and team development
- Follow team rules and goals that are shared with players and parents
- Follows established procedures in the event of an injury to an athlete
- Ensures all athletes are supervised at all times when involved with team activities
- Is a positive role model and maintains proper sportsmanship on the team at all times
- Assist in maintaining an inventory of all equipment
- Attends professional development clinics/conferences specific to cheerleading
