Visit interstates.com/connect ResponsibilitiesMeasuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing conduitOverseeing, or participating in, wire installations with conduit & cable trayConnecting power to equipmentThe ability to lead/develop up to 4 apprentice electriciansKnowledge of other construction tradesAbility to stand, walk ,and lift up to 100 lbs in construction work environmentAbility to climb, and maintain balance, on ladders and scaffolds while carrying toolsMay be exposed to high and precarious placesRisk of electrical shock and outside weather conditionsPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) requiredOther duties may be assigned QualificationsEducation/Experience: We are looking for electricians with experience using, or the desire to learn, the latest BIM/VDC technologies for pre-planning and on-site coordination of all our projects.5+ years of industrial electrical experienceKnowledge of BIM/VDC technology preferredState issued Journeyman Electrician License (NCCER does not qualify as a state license) Location and TravelThis position will require travel typically within 200 miles of the Sioux City, IA office. Applicants must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Per Diem and mileage stipends applicable per company policy.Work Schedule:Start times, break times and work hours vary per site and stage of our projects. Our employees work more than 40 hours per week but no more than 60, as part of our commitment to safety.Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, this role is often exposed to high/precarious places, risk of electrical shock, and all outside weather conditions. This role is expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Due to the nature of our work and our client base, this role may involve tasks in an environment exposed to dust. Candidates should be comfortable working in these conditions and complying with safety standards to protect their well-being.
