Palmyra, NY Salary: $62 k-$75 k (DOE) | Medical, dental, vision, 401 k ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Installs, repairs, maintains, adjusts and programs all types of precision recording, regulating, and control instruments in the plant involving a high degree of skill and experience with complex control mechanisms. Which may include instrument configuration, PID loop tuning, recipe programming. Works on electrical, air, steam, pressure, and temperature controllers, regulators, and gauges as well as mechanical devices used for measurement, process control, and test purposes. Tests, cleans, adjusts, and calibrates instruments and small gauges to coincide with established standards. Makes repairs to gauges and instrumentation including the replacement of controllers and component parts of instrumentation. Responsible for the calibration of instrumentation and record keeping associated with all instrumentation tasks.
