Now Hiring - Journeyman Plumber Travel Required Job Description1-year project at Sac City Hospital. The successful candidate will assist the Journeyman with all plumbing work and potentially some duct/sheet metal work. A pipefitter, who installs, assembles, fabricates, maintains, and repairs mechanical piping systems, is essential for this role. You will join pipes or tubing to the equipment and to the fuel, water, or refrigerant source to form a complete circuit. Additionally, you will install various ducts, duct fittings, and VAV's as required and chilled and hot water piping for various HVAC commercial systems. Experience with refrigerant systems and installing different types of split systems and rooftop systems is a huge plus.Responsibilities include -Installation of water mains, waste pipe, and plumbing fixtures alongside the journeyman on commercial projects, hanging steel supports for ceiling joists to secure pipes, and the installation of underground rough-in to top-out and finish phases of the job from start to finish.
