Job Summary:

This position will work at Twin Pine's Bison Ranch in Wheatland, WY. Applicant must have experience in residential and commercial settings and capable of traveling as required.

Hoskinson Ranch and associated companies are in the mountain region of Wheatland, Wyoming. Our organization was created to bring innovation to a traditionally rural environment and provide some elements of agricultural support to the community. To ensure proper development, we are pursuing long-term expansion plans on the existing Ranch grounds.

The Journeyman Plumber will plan, supervise, and execute plumbing projects. The journeyman plumber is responsible for overseeing the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, and commercial settings.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assemble, install, maintain, and pressure test all pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, drainage, sprinkler, and gas systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
  • Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders.
  • Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures.
  • Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, commodes, water heaters, water softeners, etc.; install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment.
  • Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks and waste and drainage systems.
  • Plan, install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls; test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks.
  • Repair dishwashers and kitchen equipment that incorporate gas or water consumption.
  • Receive and complete work orders. Select material and hardware and make time and materials estimates.
  • Maintain accurate records on material and labor used.
  • Maintain inventory of company-owned tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.
  • Work with project managers to complete projects.
  • Detect needed repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment following established inspection procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Experience, & Education Requirements:

  • Journeyman plumbers license or ability to obtain
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Acceptable MVR/PSP and background check status.
  • OSHA 30 certification or willing to obtain
  • Able to travel as required
  • Well organized and ability to work independently

Supervisory Responsibilities: None indicated at this time.Direct Report: This position will report to the Ranch Onsite Foreman.
