If you are looking for a lucrative career using your communications and interpersonal relationship-building talents, apply today!Responsibilities•Lead Prospecting: Engage with a consistent flow of company-provided leads, developing them into qualified prospects.•Client Communication: Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, guiding them through the initial stages of the mortgage process.•Conversion Focus: Leverage your prospecting efforts to turn leads into applications and, eventually, closed loans.•Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior loan officers, underwriters, and processors to learn the ropes and ensure a smooth client experience.•Target Growth: Aim to meet and exceed your loan origination targets by focusing on lead conversion and client engagement.•Educate loan applicants about various residential mortgage loans - answer questions and provide additional information to create personal relationships•Generate new business opportunities, get referrals, monitor sales pipeline, and meet sales expectations•Collaborate with the mortgage lender or mortgage banker, underwriter, loan processor, senior MLO / mortgage loan originator, and realtors on behalf of the applicant as needed to make sure the loan transaction goes through successfully•Assemble financial information to assist with loan applications, prepare loan files, and assess applicants' financial situation and eligibility•Discuss options with senior mortgage loan officer/ MLO to make a recommendation of which home loan products are best suited depending on applicant's financial statusQualifications•Eager to learn and grow in the mortgage industry.•Strong communication and relationship-building skills.•Self-motivated with a focus on achieving goals.•Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.•Ability to obtain an NMLS license.•Excellent sales, relationship, communications and MS Office skills are vital•Understanding of loan programs guidelines and various types of loans such as FHA, commercial loans, VA, etc is helpful, but not required•Must be willing to complete training program to obtain NMLS/ MLO/ state license•Experience in real estate, lending institutions, credit unions, financial services, or related fields is desired, but not required•Some college (Bachelor's) is preferred, but a high school diploma or equivalent is required
