Softek Global Services provides both operations & strategic support to tribal 8(a) & commercial organizations. Our client is a Tribal-Owned, SBA certified 8(a) small business and trusted federal partner, offering low-risk, fast-path to agile development, lean operations and digital transformations. They have a need for Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer to join their team. This is a fulltime remote role. Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

The ideal candidate has a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple languages. They can get up to speed quickly on and contribute to new software development projects and enjoy solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering scalable, high-performing web applications using various languages and frameworks like React, Angular, Ruby, Python
• Expertise in relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Expertisecreating, documenting, and consuming APIs.
• Expertise using version control like GitHub.
• Expertise setting up and using CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Experience deploying applications to one or more cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary Agile team environment.
• Ability to apply Agile software engineering principles and practices.
• Ability to select and use the best tool for the job with a focus on open source solutions
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 1 – 7 years of experience.
• Have a bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience.
• Be legally authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship.
• Be required to obtain a Public Trust or security clearance.
