Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Junior Risk Manager-Mandarin to join their team. As a Junior Risk Manager-Mandarin, you will be part of the Risk Management Department supporting the Head of Risk Management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Job Title: Junior Risk Manager-MandarinLocation: New York, NY (Onsite 4 days, Fridays are remote)Pay Range: $70,000 - $110,000What's the Job?• Monitor financial and capital markets to assess the impact on the Branch and the hedging program• Performed portfolio analysis including risk weighted assets (RWA), economic capital and country risk exposures• Assist senior staff in maintaining interest rate risk and market risk models relevance and accuracy• Perform market and liquidity stress testing to ensure data integrity and timely turnaround of testing deliverables• Risk identification, exposure reporting and risk measurement• Assistant senior staff in maintaining Branch market risk related policies and procedures on a regular basis• Organize the RMC meeting materials including meeting deck, meeting munities, review and voting records• Provide support in Operational Risk Management and Model Risk Management• Other tasks and projects as assigned by Department Head and senior staff in the team• Successfully complete the Branch's mandatory annual BSA/AML and OFAC trainingWhat's Needed?Bachelor's degree in a related field, Master's degree in Quantitative Finance or similar preferredKnowledge in risk management or operations involving data analysis and process managementUnderstanding of the fundamental concepts of market risk and interest rate riskHighly detail- and quantitative-orientedAble to work on technical matters amid distractions• Bilingual in English/Mandarin required for communication with Head Office in ChinaJunior role: 0-2 years (fresh graduates are acceptable)What's in it for me?Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work for a leading financial institutionCollaborative and supportive team environmentOpportunities for growth and developmentWork-life balanceIf this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
