We're looking to hire a Jr. Visual Merchandising Designer for a global beauty brand to support the Global Visual Merchandising & Retail Experience Team.
- Beauty Industry experience is required.
- Location: Hybrid schedule on-site 3x per week (Tuesday-Thursday) in NYC.
- Contract Length: 6 months, 40 hours per week
- Dates: 8/16/24- 2/13/25 (covering a parental leave)
- Working Hours: Mon- Thurs 9-5:30pm with 30 minute for lunch
- Hourly Rate: $41hr.
Responsibilities:
- As a Visual Merchandising Designer, you will support the Team with creative needs, including window decals/table wraps, in-store graphics, 2D & 3D graphic design, technical drawings, and production-ready artwork.
- Work with internal teams such as Creative Operations, Image, Store Design.
- Present to leadership, take feedback and implement changes.
- Manage projects and their timelines.
Requirements:
- Experience in visual merchandising design; tester displays, gondola designs, display design, styling, events or related areas - preferably luxury beauty brands.
- Beauty experience is required.
- Proficient in 3D design programs (Rhino, Keyshot), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
