Opportunity
Do you have a passion for wellness, holistic healing and the concept of food is medicine? Does the thought of providing guests in the community with organic cold-pressed juice and health shots in a caf setting interest you? If so, then the Juicer position is for you!
Specific responsibilities include:
* Manage produce inventory levels within the cooler to make sure the available products are bountiful and are of quality.
* Ordering weekly produce from external vendors to include Reinhart, Indianapolis Fruit and AJ Produce when necessary.
* Maintain sanitary levels in the produce cooler to include organization and labelling of boxes of produce, sweeping of floor and mopping when applicable.
* Operation of juicing equipment efficiently to ensure time is best utilized to fulfill orders and make sure equipment is properly maintained, and cleaned regularly throughout the day.
* Create daily juicing schedule so inventory levels stay consistent.
* Check email and juicing calendar daily to determine new order requisitions.
Sticker, bottle, cap, and date all juices/growlers to ensure food safety standards are being met consistently.
* Sticker bottles daily to identify each individual juice and maintain par in organized bins.
* Fulfill juice requisition orders placed by other locations daily and have orders ready by specified deadline.
* Clean and organize juicing station in the back room and walk in cooler to secure a functioning and safe working environment.
* Make sure cold-pressed juice recipes are created consistently and thoroughly to have the best quality product available.
* Update juicing events binder to include juicing event metrics for annual events to include
* International Yoga Day, Acuity Run/Walk, Kohler Picnic, Johnsonville Wellness Fair, ect.
* Attend and facilitate juicing events of campus when requested and bring appropriate marketing materials to include juice samples sign + aisle, juicing tablecloth, juice cleanse pamphlets, menus, compostable sample cups, ect.
* Daily communication with caf coordinator to obtain/order appropriate par levels of energy bite ingredients for grab/go cooler and KWS weekly orders.
* Efficiently train all new juicers and assist in the retention of current staff by maintaining a positive and ethical work environment.
* Understand and consistently research health benefits of fruits, vegetables and organic cold-pressed juice.
We have Full-Time & Part-Time opportunities for this role. Shifts vary working weekdays & weekends, between 5:00am to 4:00 pm.
Skills/Requirements
* Applicants must be 18 years or older to apply
* Previous experience or familiarity with varieties of coffee drinks and equipment preferred Learn2Serve Certification
* Previous experience with some food preparation preferred
* Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail needed
* The ability to walk and stand for the majority of each shift, and able to lift up to 50 pounds

The hourly range for this position is $17.00. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
