Since 1844, its passionate, customer-oriented, and solution-driven workforce has set the benchmark in the gas compression industry.They are looking for a hungry sales professional looking to get their foot in the door in the oil and gas industry. The Junior Account Manager is responsible for effectively promoting, quoting, and securing new equipment opportunities in addition to building and maintaining customer relationships. You help our client grow by: - Developing key client relationships- Generating new leads and identify opportunities with existing accounts- Utilizing business and financial knowledge to create value propositions- Documenting and following the client's global sales procedures and ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and codes- Process new orders in line with forecast expectations- Utilizing CRM, provide up to date information on order timing, competition, visit reports and project feedback- Generate budget proposals in line with customer requests- Work closely with the project management and engineering teams during project execution to ensure client satisfaction- Continuously gather information concerning market conditions, requirements, competition, and customer needs- On international projects, work with global sales counterparts to develop comprehensive job strategiesSkills for success in this position:- Communication: The ability to write and speak effectively using appropriate convention based on the situation; actively listens to others, asks questions to verify understanding, and uses tact and consideration when delivering feedback to others- Quality: Sets high standards and measures of excellence to ensure quality assurance in every aspect of work performed- Computer savvy: The knowledge and ability to use computers and technology efficiently and effectively- Customer service: The ability to demonstrate a series of activities designed to enhance the level of customer satisfaction- Job knowledge/technical knowledge: Demonstrates a sound working knowledge of current role and the technical systems, applications and equipment used in performing this role, and understands the impact this role has on other business functions within the organization- Collaboration and partnership: Encourages and embrace dialogue from team members, while anticipating and resolving conflicting differences by exploring mutually agreeable solutions- Attention to detail: Follows detailed procedures to ensure accuracy in the entry and reporting of dataCompetitive salary, full benefits, cell phone, a 401k up to 5%
