Junior Construction Manager

About the position

This is a rewarding long-term career, with opportunity to grow and work with all levels of the Kiddie Academy Educational Child Care corporate team, as well as our franchisees as they make an impact in communities across the country. As the Junior Construction Manager, you will be responsible for initial plan review, preparing and managing schedules, procurement of equipment related to certificate of occupancy, and project closeout. This position is based in our Corporate Office located in Abingdon, Maryland.

Qualifications

Your Skills and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in construction management or similar

* 1-2 years' experience

* Process driven but creative and innovative

* Detail oriented

* Understanding of building code and ADA

* Knowledge of CAD or similar viewing software

* Ability to work collaboratively to achieve business objectives

* Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, work independently

* Strong professional verbal and written communication skills

* Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
