At ManTech, you'll help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Engineer to join our team in the Patuxent River/Lexington Park, MD area. This is an onsite position.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • With supervision by more senior staff this position will apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.
  • Will participate in reviewing and preparing engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
  • May provide entry level support in performing functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
  • With supervision analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • An Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degree in a Technical or Scientific area is required
  • 0 - 3+ years of experience working in areas associated with engineering and/or systems engineering
  • Must have experience working in Microsoft products, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • This is an onsite position. Must be able to report to customer site five (5) days per week
  • This position may require travel within the United States (less than 10%)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience collecting and analyzing Navy aviation data is highly desired.
  • Experience using Navy and Government databases such as DECKPLATE, IETMS, FRACAS, etc.
  • Familiarity with NATIPS and NATOPS
Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Secret clearance is required to perform work on this contract.
Physical Requirements:
  • Tasking is primarily computer based.The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, Customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods (e.g. TEAMS).
The projected compensation range for this position is $73,500.00-$122,600.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
