We are looking for a Patient Sitter to join our team, providing both emotional and physical support to patients who may be vulnerable during their stay at our healthcare facility.The responsibilities of the Patient Sitter include supervising patients, promptly informing nurses and other healthcare personnel when necessary, and offering emotional assistance to patients.Your role will involve direct interaction with patients who may be at risk of harming themselves or others.Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients' vital signs and identify any changes in their condition
- Assist patients with basic needs and requests
- Refrain from performing medical procedures or any unauthorized actions
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
- Adhere to hospital policies and standards
Requirements and skills:
- Demonstrated experience working as a Patient Sitter or in a similar role
- Ability to handle emotionally challenging situations with sensitivity
- Professional demeanor and excellent personal hygiene
- Capacity to remain calm and act swiftly under pressure
- Relevant training and certifications as a Patient Sitter
