Job Type Part-time Description Job Title: Junior Facilities SpecialistReports To: Facilities ManagerSummary Under general supervision, performs lawn care, and general repairs to ensure that facilities are properly groomed and maintained. Assists Facilities Manager in planning work and identifying supply needs. Duties may fall into a variety of trades, including landscaping, painting, and power washing. The Junior Facilities Specialist is a part time position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with repairs and maintenance.
- Monitor and evaluate the condition of the agency's property.
- Identifies solutions needed to solve maintenance and repair issues.
- General lawn care.
- Overall upkeep of property.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Requirements Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education level.
- 18 years or older.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain certification in CPR/First Aid.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Blood Borne Pathogens, Systemic Instruction Strategies, Abuse/Neglect, HIPAA, Confidentiality, and Behavior training.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Class E driver's License.
- Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug test.
- Must pass a background check including criminal record and driving record.
- Ability to perform each essential duty and responsibility.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
- Adequate Time Management capabilities.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and walking.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, occasionally above shoulder level.
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds; this may be more with certain types of work assignments.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
