Learn more at experianplc.com.Job DescriptionJob descriptionYou will provide Experian IT Services (EITS) with the best financial performance, delivered through commercial decision-making, unpinned by excellent financial control, analytical support, process optimization, and strategic partnership. You will report into the Head of Finance Business Partnering. In this remote position, you will support multiple SLT's to guarantee a healthy balance sheet, write business cases, provide monthly financial business reviews, and provide budget and multi year strategic planning support.What you'll do
- Ensure the IT department sets and achieves the best financial performance targets
- Apply excellent control and analytics to make best investment and operational decisions
- Develop and deliver analysis to support technology change projects (e.g. move to new technologies, transition to cloud)
- Explain technology costs to internal partners and obtain investment approval from Experian corporate governance bodies
- Support annual financial planning for IT services, ensuring that multi-year financial plans are approved by senior leadership
- Help design and implement the Technology Business Management (TBM) strategy for Experian to achieve the best approach in technology spend management
- Develop partnership with peers in other Experian technology teams
- Work with global business groups to support due diligence to support M&A activities (where Experian is acquiring technology-based companies)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or related field
- At least 2 years professional experience in financial services, IT or related industry in a technology FP&A role
- Expertise operating in a complex global organization
- Understanding of IT or IT Infrastructure
- Project management skillset, ability to handle large volume of complex projects
- Excellent partnership skills
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing investment cases, including complex financial analysis to support major contract negotiations
- Comfortable challenging the opinions of senior technology leaders to improve financial results
- History of analyzing month end reports, forecast, budget and providing management commentary associated with the results
