Position Overview:

As a Junior Associate Attorney at the law firm, you will have the chance to work alongside senior attorneys and support the firms various practice areas. This position is fully remote, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere, while still providing you with the mentorship and resources you need to develop your legal skills.

This is a great opportunity for a self-starter who is detail-oriented, motivated, and committed to providing exceptional client service. While you will be expected to work independently, you will also have the guidance and support of senior attorneys as you grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Legal Research & Writing: Conduct legal research on various issues and prepare memoranda, briefs, and other documents to support litigation and transactional matters.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate with clients, providing legal updates and assisting with case preparation.
  • Drafting Legal Documents: Assist in drafting pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Court & Administrative Hearings: Observe and assist in court proceedings and hearings (virtually or in person as needed).
  • Case Management: Assist senior attorneys with case management, including preparing discovery requests, reviewing evidence, and organizing case files.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other associates and senior attorneys to handle legal matters and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • Professional Development: Participate in firm-provided training, attend CLE opportunities, and engage in mentoring relationships to develop legal expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must have passed the California Bar Exam or be awaiting results.
