Strivector s premier client (a well-known market leader in their space) is hiring for the following full-time direct hire position.POSITION OVERVIEWAs a Junior Mold Maker your roles and responsibilities will include

• Set up and operate all types of mold fabricating equipment
• Read and interpret mold drawings to ensure accuracy and precision
• Make, alter, and repair molds and components of complex design
• Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble injection molds to maintain optimal performance
• Determine which mold components need repair or replacement to ensure proper gating, venting, and cooling of molds
• Polish mold component finishes as required to maintain quality standards
• Perform routine mold repairs and fabricate mold components via established methods
• Performs development work, fitting and adjusting of mold components to maintain proper dimensional tolerances.
• Fit and adjust mold components to maintain proper dimensional tolerances
• Assist more experienced Mold Makers on large and complicated multi-cavity molds
• Observe all safety and environmental procedures and QSR s
• Help keep Hoist inspected

QUALIFICATIONSMost importantly, you need to be a passionate Junior Mold Maker who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Junior Mold Maker would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:

• H.S. Diploma/G.E.D.
• Vocational/Technical School training or education in Machining or Tool & Die preferred
• Minimum of 3 years Machinist or Tool & Die experience
• EDM proficiency preferred
• Must be available to work 12-hour night shifts. 7pm - 7am
