About the Role:
We are seeking a Network Support Specialist to join our team and assist in maintaining and troubleshooting network infrastructure. This role focuses on supporting network operations, resolving connectivity issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network performance. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in networking fundamentals, strong troubleshooting skills, and a passion for continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day network support focusing on basic troubleshooting and issue resolution (e.g., IP address conflicts).
- Support and maintain network hardware components, including routers and switches.
- Assist in monitoring network performance and ensuring optimal operation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve network-related issues.
- Document network configurations, troubleshooting steps, and solutions.
- Deliver excellent customer service while communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of basic networking concepts and Cisco fundamentals.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting common network issues, such as IP address conflicts.
- Experience with network hardware (routing and switching).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- CCNA or CCNP certification.
- Positive attitude and aptitude to learn new technologies and processes.
