The Role The Junior Premedia Artist prepares and optimizes client-supplied artwork for digital print production across our range of in-house devices. Leveraging their prepress and print expertise, Premedia Artists work within our unique packaging prototyping environment, where they handle tight deadlines and complex file conditions to deliver high-quality prints. This is not a creative graphic design role. Core Responsibilities
    • Preflight client files and evaluate artwork based on the requirements of the job. Determine if supplied artwork is acceptable and make recommendations to solve problems and complete projects.
    • Analyze construction of client files and modify when needed; requiring advanced skills in Illustrator and Photoshop and proficiency in art creation and color correction.
    • Analyze client files and make adjustments to digital files to achieve proper color conversion, image placement, and corrections.
    • Use of a variety of output devices: image setters, densitometers, color copiers, and large format inkjet printers.
    • Maintenance of image setters, film processors, color printers and inkjet printers.
    • Vendor contact and ordering of paper, film, and inkjet supplies.
Qualifications
    • Working knowledge in Photoshop and Illustrator with an emphasis on image creation, color correction, and spot colors for packaging.
    • Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized.
    • Must be customer-focused with a desire to produce the highest quality product in the industry.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in related field, preferably.
    • 0-2 years related experience

    • Willing to work a shift starting at 12:00pm and ending at 8:30 PM (Including Lunch)
