Overview:

We are seeking a motivated, passionate teammate who will work as an integral member of the contract support staff and serve as a trusted business advisor to the operations team. Duties will include preparing and maintaining cost/price estimates for all phases of the proposal process, from development through negotiations. This will include research and analysis of historical data, development cost/price models, conducting risk assessments, and participating in should-cost and pricing reviews. You will work directly with the Pricing Manager, Contracts Director, and operations staff to analyze market data and subcontractor pricing, perform analysis, and verbally present the objective findings/recommendations to company decision-makers.

Clearance:

The ability to obtain a Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected may be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Requirements:

• Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Excel. • Quantitative and Qualitative Analytical ability.• Ability to think and write critically.• Ability to effectively communicate to management and executives, both internal and external to the company.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a business advisor to operations staff during proposal development. • Analyze data and brief decision-makers on cost/pricing matters during proposal development.• Perform analysis on solicitations from a cost/pricing perspective.• Solicit quotes and proposals from subcontractors and vendors, and Perform price analysis on quotes/price proposals received.• Create detailed pricing models and estimates.• Assist with and/or author written cost narratives and cost proposals for inclusion in formal proposal submissions. • Compile large amounts of data into accurate, complete, and current cost estimates and pricing models for inclusion in formal proposal submissions.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 1-3 years of work in any of the following fields: finance; pricing analysis; cost estimation; contract administration.• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation policies and procedures pertaining to price analysis, reasonableness, and realism. • Experience working with large-scale procurement of professional services, as a buyer or seller.• AA/BA/BS with classes taken in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, organization and management or similar field of study.

Education: A High School Diploma is required for this position. Compensation:

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $60,800 - $88,857 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
