POSITION:

You will be part of a cross-functional engineering team in the role of Junior Process Engineer. You will develop and deliver conceptual, preliminary and detailed design packages through to CQV for GMP-compliant integrated process equipment and unit operations used in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical drug substances and products.

SUMMARY:

Working under the guidance of a senior engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Design Basis Development
  • Process Alternatives Evaluations
  • User Requirement Specifications (URS)
  • Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
  • Process Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Process Integration of Unit Operations
  • Equipment Plot Plans and Layout Drawings
  • Equipment Sizing and Specification
  • Commissioning & Qualification Protocol Development and Execution
  • SKILLS:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to manage and coordinate cross-functional project teams
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Self-directed, resourceful and able to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
  • EDUCATION:

    Bachelor's degree in engineering

    LOCATION:

    The primary work location will be at our New Jersey site. However, a significant aspect of the role will involve intermittent international travel, including extended periods spent at equipment vendors for Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and at client sites for Commissioning, Qualification and Validation (CQV) activities.
