Junior Project Engineer (New York, NY) Draft surveys and construction plans, sections, elevations, and detail drawings using computer-assisted drafting systems (CAD) or drafting machines, or by hand. Perform site surveys and evaluate site conditions. Coordinate structural, electrical, and mechanical designs. Prepare construction document and detailing. Prepare construction administration FPP, condo plans, tax lot drawings, and BPP plans.Requirements: Master's degree in Architecture. Course of study must include Modeling and Drawing; Structures as Medium; Advance Modeling and Drawing; Environmental Control; Materials/Assemblies; Architectural Communications; and Glass in Structure. Six months (6) of experience in the job offered or related role such as Assistant Designer or Architectural Assistant. Full term of experience must include experience in building structure coordination with the structure engineer; building M.E.P. system coordination with mechanical engineer; and use of the International Building Code. Full term of experience must also include the use of Rhinoceros 3D, AutodeskRevit, SketchUP, and Autodesk CAD, as well as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and Revu Bluebeam. Salary: $72,010.
