Overview:

We are hiring a Junior Project Manager to join our Construction team at Everty responsible for supporting the Project Manager in monitoring and controlling the 10 areas of knowledge of project management: scope, time, cost, risks, quality, resources, communications, procurement, integration, and stakeholders. The successful candidate will need to have a strong understanding of all aspects of project management, as well as the ability to think critically and solve problems.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and evaluate bids from design consultants, providers, and construction companies.
  • Review bill of quantity, comparisons tables, and other documentation during the bidding process.
  • Follow up on CFIA procedures and other permits with the consultant.
  • Track the project schedule
  • Review and process payment requests.
  • Review and analyze change orders from consultants, contractors, or providers.
  • Coordinate the survey and preparation of land registry plans for affiliated farms (if required).
  • Follow up on legal and technical issues of the condominium constitution (if required).
  • Provide technical support in the sales process or coordinate changes.
  • Support the delivery of premises/units to future tenants/owners (if required).
  • Coordinate the preliminary and final reception of the work by technical consultants.
  • Coordinate the final delivery of the project to the administration.
  • Track and follow up on documents (e.g., RFI, CO, Notice, Submittals, etc.).
  • Coordinate inspections with contractors and consultants.
  • Track and follow up on the quality, environmental, health, and safety plan control plan.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction projects with experience in preparing and managing tendering process.
  • Hands on experience in performing design review and managing project administrative tasks.
  • Proactiveness: The ability to take initiative and see projects through to completion.

  • Organization: The ability to keep track of multiple projects and tasks, and to meet deadlines.
