Job Description
Do you know quality control? This is a great opportunity to use your expertise to help Honda R&D develop the cars of tomorrow. This is a contract position.
Job Tasks
* Read and understand drawings and specifications to identify key quality characteristics of part design.
* Collect and analyze samples to evaluate conformance to specifications.
* Install prototype parts on development vehicles to validate fitfinish & function.
* Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to stake holders.
* Work with other engineers and team members to identify the root cause of non-conforming materials and possible corrective actions.
* Monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
* Communicate quality control information to all relevant organizational departments, outside vendors, or contractors.
* As needed, conduct quality based visits to suppliers to ensure developmental and mass production quality.
Requirements
* 2+ years experience in a quality control environment - preferable automotive related
* Extensive experience using quality inspection tools ( Ex. micrometers, dial gauges, fixturing equipment)
* Educational background commensurate with job tasks
