Junior Sales Representative

Job Description: The Junior Sales Representative is charged with developing new account customer wins through new sales opportunity prospecting in support of meeting (and exceeding) sales objectives. The successful hire will be provided qualified leads to direct prospecting efforts, but will also be expected to identify and cultivate new prospects.

Junior Sales Representative Essential Responsibilities:

· Comfortable making 20-30 calls and sending 20-30 emails a day.

· Utilize active listening skills to uncover customer needs and business problems to effectively communicate how Datex can solve them.

· Follow up inquiries from prospective clients (solid writing skills are critical).

· Qualify, quote and sell to prospective clients based on established procedures.

· Update and manage and add new contacts to our CRM.

· Meet sales and revenue performance targets for territory.

Education/Qualifications:

· Four university degree (or higher) preferred

· 2-3 years software sales and/or real estate experience ideal

· Good telephone, verbal and written communication skills

· Software and Web skills, including Google Docs, LinkedIn and Microsoft Office
