ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As a potential Junior Tester, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a talented team of professionals in support of a government client. This potential role will be critical in developing and executing test plans. Join us and be part of our mission to make a difference!
SOME RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Work independently, under close supervision, prioritizing your work effectively.
As a Junior Manual Test Engineer, you will be responsible for creating well-structured testing documents that specify the test setup, steps, expected outcomes and actual results.
Perform manual testing efforts required across the program that automated testing does not support.
Perform various levels of testing to ensure quality across the applications and identify bugs, defects, and issues.
Follow the Agile Scrum methodology by understanding where manual testing efforts fit into the process and ensuring knowledge of solutions/implementations to be able to thoroughly perform testing tasks.
Continuously self-improve and stay current on best practices for manual testing processes.
Participates in sprints, backlog grooming, estimation, and other Agile Scrum ceremonies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) – Business Information Systems, Mathematics or similar analytical field is a plus.
Desire to work in an Agile environment where priorities and deadlines may change regularly.
Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong analytical mind.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to problem-solve.
Candidates must be U.S. Citizens, plus have the ability to obtain a secret clearance investigation in a timely manner.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with different forms of testing like smoke tests, system, regression, etc.
Experience with creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Experience with Agile methodology.

Compensation / Salary Range: Greentree adheres to federal, state, and local regulations. This is a Full-Time, Salary, Exempt position.
