JUNIPER NETWORKS - JUNIPER RESIDENT NETWORK ENGINEER - BELTSVILLE, MD- TOP SECRET CLEARANCE
Entelligence is seeking a Juniper Resident Network Engineer Consultant to support Juniper clients. The successful candidate must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and interact with representatives from Entelligence, Juniper, and the end-user.
The Resident Engineer will function as the Juniper products Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will interact directly with the customer's personnel. The Resident Engineer will serve as the technical expert on executive-level project teams within the customer providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives. The Resident Engineer contributes to the development of new principles and concepts, works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious.
An Active Top Secret Clearance and US citizenship is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Drive projects alongside our SMEs to solve complex problems for our most strategic customers
* Take responsibility for the delivery of projects within the constraints of schedule, scope, features/functionality, and budget
* Monitor and report on all aspects of your projects including progress, project profitability, forecasted hours, risks, communications and customer concerns
* Work with the Resource Managers to ensure that your projects have the best people with the right skills and at the right time.
* Contribute to and lead the development and maintenance of PMO standards, processes, and practices
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Active Top Secret Clearance
* Extensive experience with Networking; Cisco or Juniper preferred
* Routing & Switching Experience in an Enterprise Environment
* Hands on with Firewalls
* Experience in EVPN, Ethernet, VXLAN, etc. is ideal
* Ability to implement Best Practices with Enterprise Customer
* Experience in customer facing, problem solving positions
* Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
* Cisco or Juniper Certifications are Ideal
* Able to work onsite in Beltsville, MD
