The ideal candidate is an assertive leader with a solid background and a passion to rehabilitate youth. Applicants MUST be 21+ years of age to apply. Starting pay is at $22.00 plus a .60 late shift differential pay. We cannot guarantee placement onto a desired shift as most of our need is on Afternoon and Midnight shift. Specifically, the Juvenile Correctional Officer will: Provide safety, security, custodial care, & surveillance of felony-level youth Exhibit strong management skills Maintain security of youth to and from various destinations Observe behavior and social interaction of youth Intervene and de-escalate youth behavior and conflicts Possess strong work ethic and dependability NOTE: The application process is completely EXTERNAL of the Indeed website.
