Level: Hourly (25-29 hours) - $16.50 per hourStatus: Part-TimeIssue/Revision Date: April 2, 2024General Functions:The Kinder -1st Grade Ministry Director executes the service experience for the Kinder -1st grade students, aswell as overseeing the designated areas and volunteers.Supervision Received:Reports directly to the Children's Ministry Pastor. The employee must seek authorization for a broad scope of tasks.Scope & Dimensions:Interacts with all staff, volunteers, and children to create a relevant, fun, and engaging experience for the Kinder -1st grade students.
  • Manage assigned ministry rooms and volunteers during our service experiences on Thursdays and Sundays.
  • Leadership: recruit, train, and lead ministry volunteers (small group leaders, teachers, tech leaders, etc.).
  • Discipleship: provide care for volunteers and families within the Kinder - 1st Grade Ministry.
  • Create, edit, and prepare the necessary curriculum for the Kinder - 1st Grade Ministry.
  • Purchase and prepare the necessary elements and supplies for weekly services and small group activities.
  • Complete the assigned administrative tasks and weekly ministry requirements (volunteers scheduling, volunteer assimilation, etc.).
  • Ensure all Eastlake Kids Ministry Policies and Procedures are followed.
  • Assist with designated EastLake Kids Ministry events.
  • Attend designated weekly ministry and staff meetings.
  • Assist the Children's Ministry Pastor with assigned responsibilities.Experience And Educational Requirements:
    • Technical Skills: Google Documents/Spread Sheets, Power Point, Canva, and Google Calendar.
    • General audio/visual knowledge.
    • Two years of experience in a related environment preferred.Additional Responsibilities:
      • Additional duties as assigned.Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
        • Mobile - In and out of office to ensure task completion.
        • Overtime hours as required by ministry needs.
        • Church staff is required to abide by the Cultural Expectations (tithe, attendance, conduct, etc.).Terms of Employment:
